I'm not recieving any channels through Voom right now and some HD channels are off line on comcast to. Is there a problem somewhere, or is it because its cloudy today. If its because of the clouds, it is quite rediculous. Its not even that bad!

After reading the thread you linked I would think I would be able to lock on to the channel as I'm pretty steady at 72, but after a while it does go to 81 all of a sudden and goes back to 72. Could that be the problem?

How strong of a signal do I need to see a picture? I am currently getting 72 steady and it keeps bouncing to 81, Do I have to have a steady 80 to get a picture at all? I'd figure I would at least see something on the screen but I can't pick up that channel. Using the radio shack amplified...

I want to install an indoor antenna with my voom service, I get a lot of OTA channels already, but I'm missing FOX which is about 23 miles from me according to antenna web. Is there such a thing as an amplified antenna? I currently have a Zenith ZHDTV1Z

Oh thanks answered my question exactly, yeah I don't want to have to drill a hole and put a new wire into the house. Guess I'll have to decide how I want to keep it. anyone have instructions on how to mount the antenna? I think i'm just going to switch back and for the time being.

I currently have Comcasts HD and then just got voom, according to the installer I cannot have all 3 at the same time, I was wondering if there is any other possible way without running the OTA directly to the Voom box? thnx.

Thanks, wonder why he said he had to run two lines then. The sattelite is pretty far from my cable box and having two wires run all thle way across would of been so ugly, thanks for the help.

I just went to system settings, installation guide, and then verify. Then it gave me the option to upgrade. Did it and saw 6.10 show up. Hope this helps
