    Just a little FYI....Shortly after the first of the year D* will begin some test markets with recievers with wirless phone jacks built into them. All the tech will need to do is run one phone line to the primary (I suppose the primary) and the additional IRDs will connect by themselves.

    the au-2 lnb (oval Dish) will not permantely work with a 3x4 multi-switch. If you only have 3 rec. just remove the 3x4 switch a diplex the off-air into the hd feed.

    New Install: how long can the ground wire be

    Yes you can ground to a Metal water pipe. As long as the water pipe is entirely metal (not just the valve but the entire pipe.) That is an acceptable ground. You can also ground to your central ac unit electric cut-off box to if that helps
