    from what i here only VOD and PPV is gonna be Turbo. I have the same package as you minus the sports and CSR told me i have turbo. All my HD channels are still 1080i so i guess it is only for VOD and PPV.

    Well i was wanting to convert them to .avi or.ts so i can can watch it on my laptop,or convert some to psp format for my boys. guess there may be copyright issues there, hehe. I dont wanna store x number of movies I can only watch through my VIP622. I just canceled the option for that too...

    A plea to Dish to do the right thing with Mpeg4 HD

    size matters ill have to agree with gweedo, i just got HD hooked up on my 32" LCD in my bedroom, and i must say the pic quality is noticeably better than on my 55" in the livingroom.

    If all the towers are 5 miles from you as you say I would pay radioshack a visit and get one you install on the roof, all my towers are within 30 miles and i pull them all in easily. Lots of trees here so my antenna sits 20 feet above my roofline. Plus i use it for FM, works great.

    Pbs Hd = :) I get pbs HD OTA and its great, lots of good content and awesome PQ. If you like shows like Nova, Frontline, and nature specials its the channel for you. I give it two thumbs way up.
