What happened to the LA HD channels (network 624) on the network number sequence file?

Dont forget that Fox is still the controlling shareholder in Directv. I doubt they will delay the HD version by two days - more likely is that we will get a test pattern on Weds 10th.

I heard that Fox Business Channel will be on ch 359 on Directv starting Oct 15. It will be in SD and HD.

I expect when Spike HD rolls out in Oct/Nov that they will have some HD content. All the UFC fights that are pay-per-view have a SD and HD broadcast so there is already some old fights they can show on the HD version.

THey announced that initially it will be as you said or stretched but later in the year it will be true HD sourced.

Does anybody know what this will mean for some stations - for example in Los Angeles KCBS switches from Ch 2 to Ch 43, KNBC from 4 to 36. Does this mean that they will be known then by their new channel assignments - or will the TV tuner have a translation system that will enable you to punch in...

I have been looking at the satellite tracking site LIVE REAL TIME SATELLITE AND SPACE SHUTTLE TRACKING since the launch and I am really confused with the track the satellite is taking. One hour it is at 22K miles high then it drops down to 5K, the speed goes from 3K to 15K mph, it is all over...
