I heard a rumor today, from who I consider a very reliable source, that DISH may be coming out with a 50" plasma T.V. soon. He wouldn't give me any details though. Anyone here have any info on this?

I'm in Minnesota, right next door to Wisconsin, and those are the numbers I get.

The signal strenth should be at least 115 and 100! I would get ahold of that installer and tell him to come back and re-aim it. I have installed a few hundred dishes and would never leave with one getting a singnal that low.

What would be really sweet is if DISH would build a 921 unit with a built in DVD burner. That way you could burn the movies you record without having to purchase and install addional hardware!!! YEE HAA!

We have a couple small migrant camps in my area. At one of them, I set up 5 DISH Network systems one day. After I was finnished, the people all got together cooked up one hell of a meal and "made me stay". Man that was the best food I ever ate and the only kind of tip I would ever want. :D :D :D

I am one of those new dealers. It is going to be great around where I live (southern Minnesota). Alot of people I have dealt with in the past love their HDTV but not the limited number of channels.

I just received all my paperwork. I will soon be selling and installing VOOM in southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa. I already have the SBCA certificate, low voltage contractors license, etc... I have been selling and installing DISH and DirecTV for a few years now. Finally something new for me.
