I just had both antennas (dish and OTA) removed by a local installer. He charged $49.00....

I spoke with VOOM yesterday and I am now told, refund checks will be sent out WITHIN 12 weeks! (by Sept 1..) :mad:

I AGREE... I dont miss Voom as much as I thought I would. The Adelphia HD is as good as if not better than Voom ..(love INHD and INHD2). I like the HD DVR; etc. I am a happy customer. Adelphia HD was not available to me when I joined Voom.

I was watching HDNET tonight, 3 different programs. Several times/hr, the screen would freeze then return..I was not recording them. Are others seeing this happen? Is this a DVR problem? or a cable issue?

I have had Adelphia HD now for a week. The HD PQ and AQ, I think overall is consistently better than VOOM! I like the HD DVR. The DVR box has an upconverter (this was a nice surprise, I didnt realize this..) and the SD channels, of course, look BETTER than Voom... As long as they keep adding HD...

I am very happy so far... I have not noticed the pixelation on HDNET yet but have not watched it that much, to be honest. I find that INHD 1/2 seems to have similar programming to Rave and Equator. Hopefully VOOM/E* will get some new content and send it over to Adelphia (TWC/Comcast) soon...

Yes, mine had the Digital option. I have an optical cable for sound and it works great!

I am a new Adephia HD sub but I find the SA 8300HD easy to use. I just upgraded from the Harmony 659 remote to Harmony 880.. the 880 is awesome!

The Adelphia install was today and all is well. The PQ looks good on the HD stuff. It is as good as Voom if not better. The DVR is easy to use; the recorded programs look good....Once the Voom 21 package is added, we are all set! I dont see myself going back to satellite until I get all my...

Still getting OTA here in Cleveland. I haven't done anything (unhooked, hooked, etc.) , just turned it on. Cool.. Adelphia is here May 3 to install the HD-DVR, etc.

I know. I was impressed when I made the call today. A year ago (when I got Voom), Adelphia HD was NOT available in Brunswick. Now it is. I called on a whim to see if it was available now. I hated the thought of adding another Dish on the roof (making 2 Dishes and an OTA antenna).. until a Sat...

I totally agree with you. I did the same thing. Adelphia is here May 3 . Too much Sat drama with HD.

Ilya, How's the HD quality on Adelphia? It looks like I am headed in that direction until this whole HD mess settles down.

I am on the phone with E* and they have NO CLUE about the Voom Press release... I have spoken with 3 people already! Amazing...
