When I signed up, they offered me a 4k joey for $50 since my bedroom TV was also a 4k. At this point, I'm glad I declined the offer since it has issues with linear 4k. I don't use netflix or anything, so 4k in those apps mean nothing to me anyway.
While I do agree whenever I see him in ad, he just seems like a crazy joke. But, I couldn't agree with you more, he's single-handedly changed the wireless industry for the better and he's not done yet!
While they said they may slow speeds, what the finer details say is they will slow you under those circumstances if the tower you are on is under a heavy load. ATT does it the same way and has rarely ever had to throttle under those circumstances. I do think teathering is actually limited to...
I checked it out and it costs an extra $10/mo if you don't use autopay, which is new to verizon to charge for. That said, the only reason I won't switch is cuz they won't let me get my 15% government discount on unlimited, saying it's exempt from the discount. I never go over on my data as it is...
The website offered the hopper 3 for his sign up, plus that's what they gave me 2 weeks prior. Anyway, on a positive note, DIRT got him taken care of and it'll be switched out this week. Huge thank you to DIRT!
So, my brother just signed up for dish last week and had his wife here for the install. The installers came out on Tuesday and installed a Hopper w/sling and Joey 1 instead of a Hopper 3 with Joey 2 that my brother wanted/expected.
He wants to call to have dish fix it, but we're waiting until...
I am curious to see if they replace it with a leased one or leave it as "owned." It would pretty much be theft for them to switch it. Have they given you any feedback on that yet?
1) While you don't currently have the option to opt out of locals in the packs that list the $10 charge, these prices have yet to be implemented on our accounts. This is next year's pricing, which will be implemented in January. Perhaps this is a hint that the option will be made available. That...
I think that's what they're trying to prevent. They don't want people to opt out of locals and only get $10/mo for it. Knowing you could use the OTA connector, they don't want to give you a different add-on, because that's what the flex pack is for. So, they force you to have locals in the...
I'm in the military and will be unable to have any service for the next 6 months while the wife and kids will be staying with family that already has Dish themselves. After that, we don't know where we'll be staying or what options will be available, but will certainly return to Dish if given...
