Bump for question about the ethernet to HR34 and remote boxes. I'm wiring up my home for ethernet right now and am wondering if the remote boxes can even take ethernet?

So where does internet come in to play? The HR34 wants internet access right? What about the remote boxes (H25)... any benefit to them having hard-wired internet?

Question about wiring. With my dish, there is one coax from the dish to a splitter in the network panel in my basement. The dish comes in, and two coax go out - one to my living room (where my dvr 722k is) and the other to another splitter that feeds the whole house. So I only have 1 coax...

Why do you need two DVR's? Also are the H25's the remote boxes. These aren't DVR's, but they can access what ever is recorded on the HR34... is that right?

If I want to add a TV later on down the road, how much of a hassle is that? Can they just ship you the HD receiver of does it involve a tech coming out?

Can I hook up a HD box to an SD TV? And just see 16x9 aspect ratio? I have an old TV I want to hook up but plan on replacing it with an HDTV soon. I was planning on ordering an HD box for it. It's an old TV. The only input it has is coax.

I am looking for a DVR main TV and 2-3 other TV's that I want to access the DVR on. Both the HR24 and HR34 can do this, correct?

On the directv website they are both $99. Why go for the HR24 when the HR34 is available?

I am looking to make the jump from Dish to DirecTV. I see lots of people trying to get the HR24 receiver vs the HR34 receiver. I am assuming the HR34 is the "Home Media Center HD DVR" on the DirecTV website, and the HR24 is the "HD DVR Receiver"? If so, they are both $99? Why do I see more...
