This is not true - the example where a DirecTV customer gets all of the movie channels would ALSO get the Sports Pack - this is the Premier package. I get OVER 60 HD channels myself. A Premier package customer with HD locals would get the following HD channels: 1) A&E 2) Animal Planet 3)...

I find it interesting that close to half of the people that say that they would live without the VOOM channels are in fact DISH customers.

But does it represent the feelings of their customers? That is the great unknown. The short timeframe (6 months) should be of some concern I imagine. I wouldn't just blow it off as insignificant.

Should be a bit concerning that 41% only give them until March of 2008, considering that they probably won't even have a new satellite launching before then - and they just may be hard pressed to respond until that happens. If that is anywhere near a realistic feeling of the psychie of DISH...
