I notice this dropping of CC most when playing back recordings. I would go to the menu CC setting, turn it OFF, and then back ON without leaving the menu and that would "fix" the CC stoppage. Hope the suggestion to pause and resume will work for me, because my "fix" time consuming. And 100%...

Same here, Hopper can become unresponsive to any buttons, and then freeze and reboot. I didn't see this until a very recent update to software.

Why can't we receive the OTA EPG? Weird behavior with WKRG Mobile. The satellite feed has the "Important Info" warning for all time slots in the EPG, and that make sense. But the main OTA duplicates the sat feed "Important Info" warnings in all time slots for WKRG while the correct EPG info...

Yes, you did see them just a few weeks ago. I recorded them and am almost caught up with the year. Just two recorded episodes left and then I have to wait with everybody else for the final episodes later this year.

And, there's an OTA USB module you can add to the Hopper to take you up to 4 actual tuners (3 tuner in the Hopper and 1 tuner in OTA module). Beats the ViP722, but you do have pony up another $30 for the OTA. Nice thing about the Hopper OTA setup; all the Joeys have the OTA channels routed to...

New to Hopper after years with the 722 ViP DVR. If I use the "Record Series" option within PTAT, is the series recording going to become independent of PTAT and use another tuner, or will PTAT just automatically move the weekly recording of this program to a series folder of saved programs?

Interested in moving from a two ViP722 DVR setup for three televisions to a Hopper configuration.

Another question: Any problem with time shifting during a PTAT recording? In other words, can you pause something you're watching in the PTAT block? I would expect not, but thought I would ask.

Interesting... I asked the first question because of the "when does PTAT show up in folder" questions and response suggested access to PTAT recordings appeared after the block recording was finished, like the next day, in some cases. And that suggested a bit of a limitation to the number of...

And a second question: Does PTAT had any way to cope with unscheduled delays, like from football? Recording the Good Wife was a problem this past season as games ran past their schedule. I missing the ending on couple of shows because of it, until I added extra time to the recording.
