Adjusted for Amazonas - lost G10

Yeah, I got a slight motor tilt too occassionally- i accidently broke one of the legs on my u-bolt for th motor. I usually solve that with a disec adjustment. My far east is Amazonas and IA7 is farthes west right now - I haven't tried getting in anything west of IA7. Where I live in town, I...

    Rectangular dish?

Well, electronical speaking when talking about signal propagation (yada-yada-yada), if you have an ellipsoidal (or rectangular) antenna with the major axis is the horizontal axis and the vertical axis is the minor axis (it's wider at the horizontal axis vs vertical) you will have greater...

Adjusted for Amazonas - lost G10

Yeah - it's plumb. I even checked it with the motor on the pole. I am still trying to figure out how I am even getting half the signals where I am with the neighbor's building right in my LOS. But, that's besides the point.

Adjusted for Amazonas - lost G10

Ok, I think this maybe a simple fix. I had everything set up pretty good I thought to get everything off the C belt. I am missing a few sats and that has to do with this darn apartment building in my LOS. I didn't have Amazonas in my Fortec and manually entered it in. I got a bouncing...

    Rectangular dish?

Anyone seen those rectangular looking dishes on places like gas stations? Anyone know what those are about? Anyone know how they compare to the 40x30 p*? they seem they would be excellent for selectivity between satellites that are spaced close together and want to receive a narrow sector...

    Upgrade Question

No, unfortunately you can't exchange your dish. I bought an 80cm also and wanted to exchange a couple days after purchasing. They told me all dish sales are final.

    Radio missing from E* 119?

That's all setup. I try moving the dish to the east and still - no joy.

i got 33" dish but can,t get any signal

I had the SAME problem when I set my system up with an Invacom QPH-031 and Fortec Classic. My fortec had 'UNI' for my LNB setting, and I was hitting every sat but no signal greater than 7%. I talked to Sadoun, and told me that the LNB setting was definitely wrong. So I set the linear to 10750...

    Radio missing from E* 119?

I scanned E* 119.0 and had radio one day and then it was gone about a week later. I am confused - are they gone or maybe I am hitting wrong sat. I thought I was hitting 119.0 but when I rescanned it, I found a "Congrats! You have a SuperDish pointed at 121.0" any clues? I tried repos...

    Fortec Classic NA Scans

Ok, that makes sense! When I hit the Echo birds, they were all blue with maybe 3 white. Also, the SR was 20000, which according to Lyngsat, that's what DN uses. Thanks!

    Fortec Classic NA Scans

I finally got setup into the Clarke belt. I've been doing power scans with my Fortec Classic and I was wondering what the difference is between the blue transponders and the white transponders in the list?

    Anybody seen the sats????!!!?!?!?!

Yippeeee!!!! I FOUND THE CLARKE BELT!!!!! (I think so far)

    Anybody seen the sats????!!!?!?!?!

I still can't find IA5 or Echostar 7. I did setup my azimuth for TS at 187 deg mag and then setup AMC9 under USALS. I rotated the dish to look for Echostar 7 but didn't pick anything up. Looking at my neighbor's D* setup, my azimuth looks very close but elevation is low - yet it shows about...
