I actually lost the local Boston hi def channels including NESN Hi Def (Message 771) a couple of times last night. But this morning, they were back. Every time I lose the hi def Boston channels, my other channels (72-79) and OTA Hi Def are fine....

I have H20-600 and had the reset/boot problem happen only twice in the past year. I would unplug the receiver for like 10 minutes and let the system cool down and then try it again and no more rebooting. The 2nd time it rebooted, I reset and went through the OTA setup again.

Hello, I just want to know if anyone in New England (e.g MA, NH) have had the new Slimline 5LNB Dish installed? And if you order via DirecTv, will they know to notify the local installer/DIRECTech, to install the Slimline vs the AT9? Thanks :confused:

Any chance of letting the H20 cool down for like 30 minutes? I had the reboot problem before and had to let the H20 cool down and disconnect the OTA before reboot fever.

To resolve my H20 reboot problems in the past, I've had to shutoff the H20 for about 45 minutes (unplug it completely), disconnect my OTA, replug int, reset OTA channels again (reacquire Local Market, etc), recconnect the OTA, and then the rebooting stopped (so far).

Same here....received an email during April indicating I would get Superfan free for having it last year and I just charged for the full $99.00 renewal price. I called their support line and they recognized the error and indicatet to check for their correction online within 24hrs.

I use either DVD+R or DVD-R discs to record. Depending on the speed of your DVD recorder, you can record 1 hr (HQ) , 2hrs SP, 3hrs (LP), up 6 to 8 hrs (ELP). I typically use SP.
