I hate it when they try to make changes to their website. It always involves not being able to log in for extended periods of time. Right now I can't connect to Blockbuster . Leave it alone please.

Currently if you have a bad receiver Dish sends you a new one and you send the old one back. You then connect the new receiver. I don't see how this proposed change would suddenly make people need a tech to do the connection for them.

Why would anyone pay(even 5 cents) for movies that will be on many many times between now and Christmas on non PPV channels? TBS usually does "A Christmas Story" for 24 hours straight.

I was under the impression that a person could set up their lists any way they so choose. If I want to block EVERY channel except HSN that is my business.

It is $10, and in my opinion it is worth every penny.

If this happened to me I would be contacting Dish. Eventually you will have to pay. Might as well get it straightened out right away. The longer you wait the more screwed up it could get. JMHO.

Good job with the comparison chart. I am rather surprised to see that Dish seems to have the price advantage in almost all packages. I like them for their DVR advantage.

I agree. You shouldn't be charged for something that is free. Dish has poor billing practices. Their "free" is not worth the hassle.

I can understand the frustraion of the customer on this problem. He ordered HD programming. The installer put in the equiptment, but didn't make sure he had the programming. I think the customer should have not signed off until he was satisfied. At least 2 installers in this thread were...
