    Gone again .I fear that it does no good to have a conversation or service call when the symptom.bas disappeared.

    Well it has returned. I tightened all connections and reset both the Hopper and Joey I will likely be making a service call request tomorrow.

    Seriously there is not much easier than upgrading a Joey or installing a Hopper Plus. But if someone feels they cannot handle it they should ask for a Dish installer

    Why not just ask them to send the new hardware and let you do a self install. It is not difficult.
