says yes but still doesn't work through component or coaxial if the tv is off. Only works if hdmi is unplugged or the tv is on. This is very irritating. Well I switched the hdmi cable to input one on the tv and it seems to work so far.

so it works when the tv is on or hdmi is unplugged. If it is on then shut off it doesn't work though making the coaxial worthless!

I was wondering if I could use my old 811 for dish's $14.99 welcome package? The person signing up wouldn't have been a dish customer. I would rather use that than a 301 because I can get OTA HD locals with the 811.

Today I went to use my external HDD and it says the attached USB storage device is configured for use with another Dish Receiver. This hdd has never been removed. Anyone have this issue?
