I am leaving dish this month, after about 10 years. I might come back in the fall, after the 922 is out and more HD shows up. I am however tired of the empty promises they give us.

Are you hooked up to an OTA antena? Can you still record OTA shows? Anyone know if this works on a vip 622.

do you have the verizon hd dvr. Is there alternate hardware we can get. Verizon is going live in my area sometime around September, and trying to figure out if I should switch. How many TV's can the unit control. Sorry not trying to hijack your thread but it is what I was going to name mine.

Don't think anyone really knows what is going to happen. Lately that seems to be the case more and more with Dish. Good news for me is Verizon FIOS will be in the area by September, so I will have a good alternative. I think, I hope.

I would call and complain. Make them send you the correct unit.

My owned 942 just stopped working last week. Would not hold a signal. They replaced it with a 622. I do however have the protection plan currently. It did take two service calls before they replaced it.

Send them a check for what you owe. Currently that is Zero, It will change you can count on that
