i have a cyberpower UPS and an APC UPS - neither charges. Maybe my generator is too crappy...

Does your generator charge your UPS? Mine does not, so when the power goes out for more than a half hour I have to at some point unplug my receiver from the UPS and plug it directly into generator power (thereby losing recordings for reboot).

in my experience, the DVR % full can be wildly off... especially when not rebooting for days and when doing a lot of EHD transfers... (happens during my movie recording marathons during free preview weekends) I monitor my actual % by setting up a transfer and see the H3 free space, when it gets...

So, my H3 was fine and dandy until this afternoon 6pm central, I set a timer last night to record 184 Animal Planet "Tanked: Tank Madness" I don't know exactly what happened or why, but I was checking the guide and setting new timers, exited the guide to skip commercials, went back to the guide...

I do similar, on my H3, in the guide, I press info, then select showtimes if that option is available, if not, I press search, 0. most of the time it will find it if I have already recorded it - the ones it doesn't find that I have recorded are due to the guide info changing...

that sounds like the guide-related issues to me... imo, nothing wrong with the UI and other stuff you mentioned
