    You should tell him immediately of your intention to move it in the near future...so he doesn't fume about it. Also ,in his mind, you are the bad guy. If you preempt him with apologies and butter him up he may feel he went overboard....and would think twice about bringing up future issues.

    It could be round...but the LNB would be in the centre, blocking some signal. so it is offset....no blockage.

    Maybe you are trying to narrow the signal laterally

    If it is a DBS LNB he might have to flip the polarity for the transponders.
