Interesting. For me the DVR is the one that locks up and freezes not the clients. I have had it for 3 months, and I am thinking of going back to DirectTV. I agree picture wise DirectTV is the best. Kind of sorry I left them.

Yup, absolutely right, the first technician didn't know the capabilities. Everything works including initiating a recording from the non-DVR to the DVR. They are a huge company, but they really have to improve their communications among their employees
