    I had an hr20-700 hooked up to a sony 36" sd for months until I was allowed (castrated over here) to get an hdtv. Loved it then even better now!! He shouldn't give you any trouble at all!!

    This has happened to me several times the only solution I found was to do a new software install via 02468 method... this fix has worked for me for almost 2 weeks...not the best solution but it should get you through to the next update(next week I hope) Hope this helps!
