The replacement H1 is working OK so far. I thought about asking him for a HWS but it was all I could do to get him to replace it. I didn’t want to push it. He had to run back to his house to get one.

My H1 does the same thing. I found that if I open the info screen for the show I want to watch and wait about 15 seconds then hit watch or resume it works on the first try.

Tech came today and after some back and forth he replaced it with another H1.

U119 for the original hopper fixed my external hard drive. Recordings now play on the first try.

That worked. Thanks for the tip! Still debating about upgrading to H3s anyway just because of the lag. I thought it was ok at first but the longer I use it the more it bothers me. I don't mind the look of the CUI.
