Referencing that in bold below, since I can't seem to find which model is which when playing with the order screen on the direct website, which units are these? Obviously, the HR34 is the Home Media center HD DVR, but is the hm21 a HD DVR or just a HD receiver? I'm in the same boat as the OP...

Happened to us Sunday on the guide. Channel in little screen switched fine, but could not exit the guide. Reset fixed it.

Called up this morning, got offered a $30 credit and was told that I could watch it on my computer. I said my wife would rather watch it on a big screen and I understand Directv still has the channel, transferred to loyalty and immediately got the roku and 10/12 credit. No waiting on hold this...

I've noticed the same trouble on G4 and TBS. When you change to those channels (and others), the screen is blank, you hear a bit of sound, than the "complete signal loss" message flashes for two seconds, than partial signal loss comes up, then the system waits for me to change the channel...

Had the same problem, still missing 77 but got all the others back.

Are all channels affected? Reason I ask is that my locals are gone (77 degrees), and that message comes up when I go to one of those channels. Using the program guide via main menu, I can see the other channels.

Ahh, I've got a wing dish with one LNB tied into my dish 1000 (pointed at 110,119,127). Guess when I added HD locals, the wing dish is what dish decided I needed.
