Sci-Fi HD was my Holy Grail of channels. My $10 monthly rebate just ended and I also checked on when my commitment will end last night. I was ready to jump ship! Looks like Charlie finally came through. Everything else now is just gravy!!

Do you mean outputting the HD to an external drive then inserting that drive to a PS3?

Never had much interest in the super audio format, but now with my purchase of the ps3, how do you use this capability. Do you need decoding at the pre-amp stage? Also, does it output through the optical as bitstream or pcm, or output through the hdmi? :hungry:

That's great news! I received my boxes for my old receivers today, but never told them I was returning them. I do own my 811 and 501. What are they giving for their return. I see people selling the 811 0n ebay, I know I can get something for the 501.

So, according to that quote, if you sign up for the DVR Advantage package, which includes the dvr fee, under the Dish'n it up promotion, do you eliminate both fees?

There is no mention of this fee on their website! I'm doing the 622 upgrade myself this wednesday, they didn't tell me anything about that charge on the phone when ordering either.

Without this forum, I would be in the dark about all the new receivers and dishes. I have seen the light!

I have made 2 purchases from them. My original 5000 w/mod, and a 501. Not a single problem. Items came quickly. Great price when compared to Ebay.
