I noticed my AZBox tends to run hot so I just put a $20 cooling fan that I had bought from Rat Shack for somthing else on top of it (so that it pulls air out not blows air in). The AZbox has been running nice and cool since I did that.

I don't know if it's the same thing but I select differt audio channels on channels that offer it by hitting MENU>AUDIO LIST> Select disired audio channel.

Maybe if you could find a polar mount for it. Sadoun carries a 1.8 meter dish that comes with the polar mount for almost exactly the same price, but the shipping's not free. All you would need to motorize it is an actuator. Here's the link: Polar Mount Style SD180PM Sadoun 180CM Prime focus...

If budget and LOS permits...how about a dish with a motor? That would get many more satellites while only using one dish and still would be able to be hidden. Personally I would find it hard to choose between just one or two satellites. Plus things have a tendency to move around.

I liked Enterprise. It's a shame they pulled the plug on it though. Just when the plot was starting to get good.

I've run it with both the push buttons on the motor and the receiver with the same results. I'll have to dig up my voltmeter to see if I can test the voltage coming through the cable. The motor runs really well on the western side of the arc, it just seems to have trouble on the eastern side...

Keep in mind some channels have different audio tracks available as well. There are a couple of Brazilian channels I watch that offer a English audio stream. Of course the commercials and such are still in Portuguese but I would say 90% of the programming has English audio. :)

I have had a horizontal TP selected. I even took a power inserter out to dish and hooked everything up so that the motor was getting 18v (I was thinking maybe my cable run was too long) and it still did the same thing. I've also tried putting the dish in different positions on the motor shaft...

I finally got around to replacing the screw in my DG380. Unfortunately it did not solve my problem. The motor still drives west and comes back with no problems, but it performs miserably when it goes east. It just refuses to go back west once it's moved about 20 degrees east of my true...

It depends on your location, the satellite(s) you're trying to receive, and the height of the tree(s) in question. I have a 20' tree that is about 15' or so in front of my 10' and 4' dishes, but since my lattitude is around 30 degrees and the tree is due south it doesn't really interfere with...

Well, the Coolsat 8100 I have does make a sound when you get a signal...it's more of a shriek than a beep though...grates on the nerves.
