I currently have PAC12 and the Blaze, hopefully they disappear soon and bring back Redzone to 119.

I'm currently setup with a SD dish and SD receiver. I can only hit satellite 119, so I get most channels but not all. If I were to get a HD receiver would it work on a SD dish? Also, would I get more channels if I got an HD receiver?

That makes sense, since now I don't have NFL Redzone, but I have Glenn Beck's new news channel "Blaze," and suddenly I have the PAC-12 channel, both of witch I don't care for.

I've already been contacting Dish Network about moving NFL Redzone back to 119 so everyone can watch it. I've gotten no response yet, but I'll keep at it and see what happens.

Anyone where I am....how hard would it be tho to just put NFL Redzone back on 119?...makes no sense why they switched it all of a sudden...

I live in remote Alaska, and can only get Dish Network, and only hit Satellite 119. I was a big redzone fan til recently at the start of this month they moved Redzone from 119 to 110. Now I can't get it. Why would they do this? How could they take away my favorite channel away from me? What...

It is...I had 2 reps at Dish swear to me over the phone it was still on "119"...thanks for that info...I just called Dish Tech, and canceled everything since I can only receive 119 where I live...bummer, I absolutely loved Red Zone, it's a shame they switched it...

With my current setup in Alaska, I can't get any HD channels. So unfortunately, that isn't the issue. I did go through the channel lock setup tho, with Dish Network and nothing was locked. It's just odd, that a single SD-only channel would disappear completely.

Fixed it Ok, I found my problem. I discovered I was on a 4 output port switch, and that when all four outputs are being used the switch doesn't work properly. Once of the ports wasn't being used so I simply unscrewed it from the switch, and now my satellite comes in crystal clear, no problems.
