Got'cha. Thanks! It seems like the Hopper needs to replaced; however, we would need to wait for the appointment to be certain.

We may need to continue to troubleshooting as the technician would not be able to replace equipment if they are not able to duplicate the issue. Have you checked to see if the same issue occurs when using another device through a different Input such as DVD player or a game console?

You may try to do so for the time being until the appointment you have scheduled for Saturday.

Have you tried to use Component connections to see if the same issue occurs, if possible?

What is your software version on the Hopper 3? To find such, you may click on the Home button three times using your DISH remote.

The Joey is not built with the same hardware that is required for proper connectivity as the Hopper.
