    Spotbeam inquiry...

If both the uplink facility and the receiver (customer) are under clear skies does the spotbeam shrink or reduced in intensity during daylight hours...say 4-6 points. Thanks.

    419HD Comcast SportsNet BayArea

Laila...I think I solved the problem...found one sat cable input was fraying at the connector...switched it out and so far so good. To answer your ? it appeared to be effecting all of the channels, which makes sense.

HD - RSN comparison chart by provider

http://www.avsforum.com/forum/showthread2.php?p=38796033#post38796033 I'm fairly sure some of you are familiar with these charts. I have a question for any of the 5 star customer service reps of this group ... the RSN chart indicates that some of the RSNs on DISH are full time HD...ex: Comcast...

    11/04/2015 12:25 - Uplink Report - 29 Changes

Is it correct to say that all of the HD channels on 72.7 are mpeg4? What about the HD channels on 129 ... mpeg2, 4, mix? With the addition of the HD feed of Aljazera how many more HD signals can be added? I thought 129 was maxing out.

I notice in the dbstalk website you can't talk about "moving" but you can here.

In my perfect tv world you'd be able to get Birmingham if you wanted it, but you'd also be able to opt for NY, Chicago, etc. If "locals" want your business fine, but if they're not willing to fork out the $$$ to get that signal to you...tough darts.

I agree with ejb...local DMA should be limited to what one can receive with rabbit ears.. 30-40 miles max. If locals want a larger market let them spend the $$$ to erect relay towers that guarantee a steady signal. No...they don't want to have to spend any $$$ just rake it in.
