    Thanks Thanks for the reply. DVR is a Dish 510 not HD, no S video on the TV just HDMI, how do I connect to that DVR??

    Have decent coax picture, tried to hook up component lousy pictire weak and black and white, used Y R W connectors on TV (Westinghouse VK 40F580D) and Dish digital DVR, what am I doing wrong> Thanks

    Have had DVR for over two years, love the system, but for three months my recorder has been messing up , it records, but when you play back it stops, loses sound and you need to press play again to make it work till the next stoppage, wife has been on the phone and they say it is a known problam...
