Unfortunately, the clouds would not return upon my request! Lets not make an issue of the line with the text, I'm just currious as to what 3.17 does different over 3.16. Not an issue to fix!

Any one know what the new software for the 311 (Version 3.17) does? I did see a line across the top of the screen that said poor signal quality when some really dense clouds came over. Never saw that before. I checked the dish site, but no real info on what the difference is.

Unfortunately, here in Milton, it was not pretty weak! I took mine down, but some who did not got whacked! The county suffered 4 million plus dollars in damage on top of Ivans destruction. Ft. Walton, and Pensacola dodged the bullet, but we did not! :eek:

Where are you located? Like I said, I looked at the footprint map, (found at SES Americom). If one is on the fringe of the footprint, then what signal you get is what you'll get, unless you move. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.

Well folks, my signal went from 52 to 70 on 105. Works for me! No one in this area will get much higher than that. I looked at the footprint map and this area just happens to be on the fringe on both the KA and KU bands. But, with 70, we are less likely to loose signal in light rain. We...
