    Unfortunately, the clouds would not return upon my request! Lets not make an issue of the line with the text, I'm just currious as to what 3.17 does different over 3.16. Not an issue to fix!

    Any one know what the new software for the 311 (Version 3.17) does? I did see a line across the top of the screen that said poor signal quality when some really dense clouds came over. Never saw that before. I checked the dish site, but no real info on what the difference is.

    Unfortunately, here in Milton, it was not pretty weak! I took mine down, but some who did not got whacked! The county suffered 4 million plus dollars in damage on top of Ivans destruction. Ft. Walton, and Pensacola dodged the bullet, but we did not! :eek:

    Where are you located? Like I said, I looked at the footprint map, (found at SES Americom). If one is on the fringe of the footprint, then what signal you get is what you'll get, unless you move. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.

    Any vehicles with a radar detector in the area? There are a couple in my area and when they are on it throws my signal for a loop, but the interference only shows on the 105 signal. When they remember to turn them offf or leave the area, it stops. Go figure!

    My 311 has done that a few times. No explanation why. I fix mine by turning off the power via my surge suppressor strip. You can do the same by unpluging it. Wait at least a minute. Plug it back in and it will get the satellites first then download the program guide data. One time I had to...
