Has Dish made any comments on when they will start carrying El Paso HD locals??

Exactly digiblur! When my HDTV first arrived I went out and bought a powered antenna and used the onboard tuner. Holy cow I was blown away and started spending HD money like crazy :)

Ya this is a huge shaft for me. I get my CBS out of El Paso and they don't have enough broadcast power for me to get it over the air. CSI is gone... So what should we as subscribers do? Do we talk to Dish? Do we talk to PAPPAS? Do we talk to local affiliates?

Hello Has DISH made any comments about the CW network and how it will be handled or if it will be in HD?

I've done it multiple times with my USB flash drive. It works just fine. I keep hoping they will enable the USB port for copying recorded shows back and forth but it might just be enabled for PocketDish devices :(

HDMI should look better than component video. The basic idea is that the signal stays digital longer. When I went from component to DVI there was a difference. On top of that HDMI includes the audio connections as well so you can lose some cables. $150 sounds way too much for a cable though...
