I turned my TV on yesterday and had a notice saying my receiver was corrupt and will have to delete all my content :shocked There was no choice to hit Ok and let it delete all my recordings from the past 3+ years. Movies I recorded when I had 3 months of HBO, some watched some not yet...

I've only tried to record from my locals- the regular channels not DN locals, maybe that's the problem. I set it up to record the higher channels - will see what happens later today when I get home from work. I do see on the top left corner an option to pick the receiver!

I've tried this several times in the past few days, but it's not working with my 625. I can't pick which 625 to record to either.

This may be a real dumb question, but if I unselect to pay for my local channels, does this mean I won't get them at all over Dish? According to my package, it shows $5.99 for locals, on the listing of channels it shows Dish's #'s for the locals (7412, 7413 etc) and it also has my local...

Ah Ha! We were wondering why the reciever turned off in the afternoons when hubby has been watching tv/napping and not changing channels.

We are having our roof reshingled on Thursday/Friday of this week. I never gave it a thought about scheduling with DN to hook the dish back up. I just called and it can't be done until the 12th or later. Also the charge is $99! So is this something we can do ourselves? What do we need to do...

I think I finally got it figured out what was interferring. We have an FM Booster for our stereo. I unplugged it and waa-laa - it's working! Haven't had any problems since Sat with TV2! :eureka I was ready to extend the antenna, and thought I'd try the booster first. Should have thought of it...
