NatGeo HD and Science Channel HD, SD versions were still available, anyone know what's up with this? It happened after midnight est last night. I was watching the re-broadcast of the Footprint show on the HD channel on a 211 then went to bed to finish it up and the channel wasn't there on my 622.

i would consider which xbox system you have. if it's one of the new ones with hdmi then add on is the way to go considering the price $179 or less on ebay. i have my add on hooked to my pc connected to my big screen via rgb and i like it, just not as easy to get going as it was when i had it...

thank for the reply, are the file resolutions kept intact and transferred in the original resolution to dvd? i'm trying to figure out if it's worth the effort to extract them or just capture using s-video capture device. anyone know of a stand-alone dvd burner with component inputs?

i had the same problem with one of my 211 recievers. tech support had me run all the diagnostic tests and if i remember correctly it was the switch that was the problem anyway we fixed it over the phone but i can't remember all the things we did so i would give tech support a call so they can...

after i made a test recording i hooked the ext hdd to my xp pc and it didn't see anything on it. i ran a recovery program on it also and it found some text files after over 24 hrs of searching. note 500gb ext hdd and after 24hr it was about 1/2 way done.
