Dish told me to throw away/recycle both of my receivers. It's not a big deal if I can't access the recordings, just thought I'd try.

The receiver was plugged in but not on when I canceled. When I select the dvr I get a message "This feature is currently unavailable. Contact customer service......"

I canceled my service. I still have recordings on the DVR. Doesn't look like I can access them now. I know in the past when I moved and didn't have a dish hooked up to the receiver I could still watch recordings, but since I canceled my service I can't access? Not a big deal, just some movies...
