has anyone else tried recording via firewire since the box upgrades. my sa3250 worked fine. Now the firewire stream has constant dropouts and crashes capdvhs also tried sa8300 and stilll no luck with its firewire

With verizon rasing the bar in tampa. Will Brighthouse match the same speeds?

the locals are copy freely everything else was set to copy once or copy never. About a month ago many channels in the hd pack were copy freely. Now its copy once.

Firewire ports on sa8300hd is not yet active. Yes windows will see the port and you can install the driver. When they update the firmware next month they will be. But it its now pointless since all but the local channles are set to copy never or copy once, either way the pc will refuse to record.

Any word on what if anything is going to replace inhd2?

looks like firewire works in sara 1.88 but we are still stuck at 1.87

Anyone know when brighthouse will be turning on the firewire ports on the sa8300hd box or what box they provide that have them turned on?

dish does not need your ssn just a little fuel for the fire, to pull a credit report all you need is a name and an address, and bingo you have the persons ssn

I checked the lnb and there is no dishpro logo on it so I would think its legacy I bypassed the switch and ground block to be be sure and I just cant get any singal
