How did you connect using component cables or DVI-HDMI.? I have never gotten a good picture with the dvi cable on my hitachi 51s715 with sd on HD it's fair but still not as good as component hook up.

Each time I call they say there isnt a problem that it's in my TV, I point out that others have stated same problem, but so far not much success. :(

Many dumb question on my part but here goes, how and why does DIsh control downloads to some receivers not others. If the receiver must be turned off how does download occur, phone line, LNB,? It would seem to me all upgrades should be sent to all receivers. And yes please explain the term...

I had similiar problem and yes I was mislead by 3 different sales people. Competition is the answer for poor service and high prices however in this business it's a long way off. :(

yes, it was $50plus the HD package however In all honestly I would not do it again unless they come out with a new receiver not happy with the 811.
