I know how to set up a timer with the option of new programs only (2005 in the info box). If it's possible to set up a dish pass for new programs it's escaping me. It wouldn't be the first time something obvious has escaped me so please be kind :confused:

Well I posted my lament at not receiving the update at 5:23 this AM, I woke at 4 am an hour after my 522's default update time, it was still at 2.08. I even tried forcing an update, no luck. I returned to bed and woke again at a little after 6 am. Bammm, I now have 2.32

Still waiting for the download. I've had the machine for several months and have gotten several upgrades without incident. Should I be concerned enough to call for tech support at this stage :confused:

I'm still waiting for the update too! BTW, My 522, by default is set to look for updates at 3 am. If I happen to, rarely, be watching TV at 3am, I get a message that it's about to shut down for updating, then I can chose to let it shut down or not. Moral.......you don't have to remember...
