You will still be able to get the regular channels from your local digital stations for free. The pay content will be in addition to that (if it ever comes into being - may just be an engineering department idea that won't be used).

My favorite channel that I know is available FTA is RTN - I have to watch it on LP OTA, since I don't have FTA (yet!)

Pardon my asking, but how do you know that for a fact? Aren't many of these boxes using the same components? Don't you think someone could use their software (and hopefully improve it) somewhere else? Isn't Dish's guide far and away better than the competitions'?

What were the circumstances under which your Pal displayed this screen? Haven't heard of it before! Has your firmware number changed?

Checked my box - no mention of Dish Network at all on it!
