    Received Coolsat 8000HD yesterday

Sorry for the last found the loader. However it leads me to the next question; after the download my S/W 11.13.8 A. Is 11.13.8 F a later version? If it is, where does one get the latest factory "sgn" file? plimzol

    Received Coolsat 8000HD yesterday

Got the unit yesterday. I have only turned power on so far. Saw S/W version 11.13.4 A as the unit flashed thru bootup. On Iceberg's post of the 7th, his image of the same screen showed 11.13.8 F. What do I have here? The first unit off the shelf. I downloaded the 11.13.8 sgn file but am having...

How to program Satellites not in the default

Iceberg, Sorry for the late reply. My problem was I didn't realize you can enter numerical values with the number keys. Once I had hit a number key (by mistake the first time) instead of scrolling through the defaut settings I felt about two inches tall. Thanks again for your help. plimzol

    Second Receiver Connection

I've pretty much finished with the primary setup (dish, motor, and receiver). All available sat's locked in with the receiver moving the dish via USALS. The LNBF I'm using (QPH 31) has another circular output and another linear output which I would like to connect to another receiver (the...

How to program Satellites not in the default

Ok I'm stumped. I'm trying to enter Galaxy 26. I've gotten to the edit screen (again thanks to iceberg) and I cannot match any value (down freq., polarity, symbol rate) with any info on lyngsat. I'm using usals. Does this require DiSEqC 1.2 because I see no input for sat longitude? I was able to...

How to program Satellites not in the default

I have a pansat 6000hxc pvr and would like to program in satellites that apparently do not appear in the default list already programed into the reciever. Is there a way to do this? Further, is there a way to edit the satellite name once a satellite has been aquired and saved? plimzol

    Pansat 6000HXC setup help

Once again I'm late to reply. At least I'm consistant. More rain and job demands delayed my installation. Let me pick up the install where I left off. I had aligned the motor/dish (both aligned to their zero points, dish declination set and motor set to latitude) to a true south...

    G10R is gone, but why?

Das, As one who has benefited from your advise, may I return the favor or at least agonize with you? All things considered the equipment inside the house should be ok. Outside maybe not. Most likely basic alignment. I would approach it as a new install. Mast vertical, motor dish aligned...

    Pansat 6000HXC setup help

Thank you Tron for your post. Once again I'm late to reply and for that I apoligize. Finally made it out on Saturday before the big game to finish installing the dish. The previous weekend I installed the post and made sure it was perfectly plumb and solid (so it wouldn't flex with the...

    Pansat 6000HXC setup help

Gearing up for the intstallation tomorrow (finally). I feel fairly confident as far as the alignment on G10r (direction to true south), the transponder to use and the settings in the pansat 6000hxc reciever (thanks to iceberg). Assuming I have got a strong quality signal do I do a scan at that...
