I am in the Toronto area. I use SATLINK WS-6926 satellite finder. I had signal before winter and i am not sure what happened now. I got Norsat 3220 LNB but I couldn't get any signal on that LNB so I locally purchased a cheaper LNB which had same signal readings when I tried it in the summer. I...
I give up. No signal on anything on Galaxy 17. Changed cable, no go. Tried signal meter on small KU dish - works well. Bought a new C/KU LNB and tried to get KU on Galaxy 17 - no go as well. This is a tek2000 6ft dish and I am clueless what I am doing wrong...
Used to be able to lock to 3840 H within seconds on Galaxy 17 but now I cant seem to find any signal on my 6ft dish. Could anyone point out a strong TP on this satellite so I can keep trying?
I think what you are showing is a non polar mount. I could be wrong.
See pic 2, this is an older tek2000 6ft dish, has a polar mount
See pic 1, this is the "new" tek2000 6ft dish, has a different mount with no declamation adjuster
Few days ago I had a lock on 4005 V but since I am not able to get a lock on any tp. I get a strong signal on 91W and from there I try to locate G28 which is just 2 degrees away.
Does anyone know a strong transponder on that satellite so I can attempt again? I'm am close to Buffalo, 6ft mesh...
Does anyone know where I can send LNBs for a repair? One went dead on me because it had no weather dome, second one started acting up for an unknown reason. Sent Norsat an email also.
Has anyone bought from either www.daveswebshop.com or www.satellitedish.com? Still looking for a 12 footer and tek2000 keeps pushing his in stock date.
Looking to split a line into two as Norsat LNBs only have single output and with dual LNBs on market i have either no signal or on the edge of pixelation. Bought a 2x8 passive switch but there seems to be great amount of signal loss. I understand that any splitter will result in signal loss but...
I gave up. My 6ft seems to be failing on everything except 91w and 97w. I got NASA from 127W as well but 131w, 125w, 101w are not locking for me. Figured the dish size is too small...
Can't seem to locate AMC 11 which is just 2 degrees from Galaxy 12. Satbeams shows that I only need 110cm dish to get something on Galaxy 12(130 for AMC11) from Southern Ontario but i've spent few hours trying to locate it with no luck. I got 180cm mesh and Norsat 8125 DRO LNB. But again, I'm on...
