So if I get a good signal with the spot locked I am okay. If I have a good signal on transponder 21 and not locked am I getting a signal from another sat or transponder?

Yes it is. That is why I am getting the SD locals from STL. I do get the guide for all of the STL HD locals but when I go to those the receiver goes to the SD channels. It does take a while to lock on to the spotbeam for the HD locals but I am getting a signal strength over 50 on transponder...

Thank you for your quick reply. I have not ordered the system as I wanted to be sure that someone was available for the install. I used my former Bell wiring for another sat system so he would have to start from square one. Do you have the smaller dish or the larger one? Please let me know how...
