Already done. They are the blue ones. Why do you recommend the mini over the H25? Basically, I want to be able to control live tv with pause, rewind, etc and access the Genie dvr from the mini or H25. What are the advantages/disadvantages of one over the other. Thanks!

Excellent! Sounds like 2 H25's for the living room and bedroom and 1 Genie for the media room should get it done for me. Whole home DVR is what I am looking for. BTW - Does this system rely on Moca as well? Thanks!

Thanks. The bedroom tv is wall mounted and I currently have a Joey mounted behind it. There is no room for anything larger than the Joey. I assumed the Genie mini would work the same as a Joey. Is that incorrect?

I had Dish with one Hopper and one Joey for a year until I moved. Added a second Joey when I moved to my bedroom. Since then, nothing but 1303 and 1305 codes with the bedroom Joey searching for the Hopper. The techs have been out here way too many times the last month and cannot figure it out...

Whenever I record something from the guide, it goes to the No Folders folder. For a while I was able to edit and select the correct folder. However, now if I try to edit a movie to save to Movies folder it saves in Kids folder and vice versa. It is the new Hopper with integrated Sling. Anyone...

Yeah. Going to try a NETGEAR WNCE2001. Looks like people have had success with it and the Pioneer VSX 1021. $29 on Amazon as well.

So I replaced D* with the brand new 2013 Hopper/Joey. The Hopper is networked through my Wifi. I plugged my Pioneer receiver into the back of the Hopper so it would be networked and could access the web through the Hopper connection (for Airplay through my iPhone, internet radio, etc)...

I just logged into Dish Anywhere since im at work. It STILL shows as 8:20-9;40. Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan is running 7:20-8:20 beforehand. This seems strange. Is it possible my guide is messed up?

I do know that. The 2/4 showing is at 8:20-9:40pm on my Hopper. It shows originally aired 1/27. So, its not marking as new.

When I was with D* the guide data supplier was not marking Top Gear (the good UK one, not the terrible US one) as new because it was previously showing overseas. Looks like Dish has the same problem. Anyone find a way to record the series without having to force it to record each week? Thanks!
