the strength is in the high 70s, but the quality is what stays at 0

Hi guys, just want to know if my switch is down. I have a motorized and each time I go to 97W my signal quality oscillates really fast between 0 and like 30. The signal strength stays intact at 70. The funny thing is I only see this oscillation in the signal quality when I am in the antenna set...

you think it could be a switch problem ? I thought if the switch was out you wouldn't get any quality at all, and won't see any pictures. right ? In my case I'm getting 12% quality and the pictures come in bursts once every 30 seconds or so.

thanks. Now does it mean that if the signal strength is strong enough (which in my case is about 65%, same strength i've always had on my viewsat Ultra) and the quality is low (about 12%, as opposed to 40% which I used to have), then it is the transponder that has issues ? I guess a strong...

Hmm, i doubt that...but who knows? The other satellites - Galaxy 18 (123W), Galaxy 25 (93W) and Galaxy 28(89W)- from which i get my FTA are still intact. Why then will Galaxy 19 be the only one off/misaligned ? On taking a closer look, I'm seeing something ...I see my transponders correspond...

Hi guys, Been on 97W (Galaxy 19) for a while now and never had a problem. I have been out of town and haven't watched tv for a month. Just got back and was trying to turn on my tv and all of a sudden the signal quality of my 97W has gone down drastically. The signal strength is still around 70...

Are there any FTA European or UK channels visible from this part of the Earth ?

thanks radar..i like country music..i'll have to take a look at that satellite...also what's typically on the NASA channel ? i thought it was basically some boring satellite images. How about the Pentagon channel? Is it the same thing?

Hi guys, I have 97W and have been watching the couple of FTA channels on it for some time now. I know of only about 4 few interesting English channels on it...Al-jazeera, Press TV, Abu-Dabi Sports, and NTA Plus. Are there any other nice English speaking non-religious channels on that satellite...

Hey guys, is anyone able to get any of these FTA channels ? They seem to be all C-band. I have a 30-inch fortec, which i think will be too small for any of these. Just wanted to make sure that folks can actually catch these signals before I go buy some large sized dish. Also, how're the signals...
