I have an 811 with P330 but don't have the multiple channel option on my Dish Home.

Before AMC 15 I was lucky to get 55 on 105 satellite; now I get 75, without doing anything as far as tweaking my Super Dish.

That is not true of all users of Dish Network. I have had dish for 6 years and have only had to reboot maybe twice.. I have the 811, and two 510's and all work fine.. So don't let one person discourage you from using Dish. They have over 11 million subs so someone likes them.

I just checked mine and they are still charging me $9.99 for the HD Package. Like you, I have had it since it came out. So I guess you got lucky, but I didn't. :)

You will get CBSHD either on Satellite 65 or 148. But either way, you will need an additional Dish. I have a Super Dish and it won't pick up either 65 nor 148 so when and if I get CBSHD I will need another dish.

Olymphics in HD If they are broadcast in HD but they can't be picked up with the 811's and 6000's, who will be able to see them in HD other than the OTA? So what is the advantage of broadcasting in HD if we can't receive them in HD? Or am I missing something somewhere? I would appreciate...

I use DVI with my 811 and the 'adjust' button works fine for me.

As has been stated, people have legitimate gripes with their 811. I too, would complain if mine didnt' work as it should, but personally, I have had no problems with my 811 which I have had since March. I don't have to reboot, the PK is great on HD and extremely good on SD. My locals one Dish...

The 54 on 105 is not bad since it is a low power bird. You should get between 85-110 for 110 and 119.

Dolby Digital works fine on the 811 with my Yamaha HTR5640.

I have the AEP, Fort Smith Locals, East/West CBS, East/West NBC, East/West ABC, East/West Fox, HD Pack and Sports Package.
