Have had it for almost a year now. Strictly satellite thru wild blue. Great speed for satellite (used to have starband). Of course still the lag time to get started but for those of us who don't have access to any cable service it's just great.

We have the same problem in AK with Starz. There was a thread on this a few weeks ago. The channels show as non-available in the 300 range but in the 9000 series they are there. Why this occurs only Dish knows but they aren't telling. Look in the 9000 series channels and see if you can find...

The Anchorage AK NBC station is also owned by Schurz Communications and we see the same message that we are going to loose Channel 2 because their deal with Dish expires. Looks like we'll be without NBC for awhile.

MaryB@Dish, one of the DIRT reps here, handled my last complaints last week. Maybe if you personally e-mail her she can do more checking on it. It is lame, especially the sudden unauthorized to watch messages for sports.

Yes Mary, thanks for your help. By the way, the channel numbers appear in the guide but when you try to tune to them it shows the error message. This is on my hopper-joey setup.

A neighbor and I are having the same problem here in AK. I have a hopper and they have a 722. These are channels that we have been receiving for years (and we pay for as part of our packages). The channels we have with a 743 code are 350, 354, and 356. Channel 388 comes up with a 744 code...

Used PTAT last season and love it except for one item. The end of the PTAT is 10:01 local. The whole problem for us in Alaska is that most of the prime time shows end later due to the insertion of countless local ads. There is no adjustment for ending times in PTAT. Seems like it should be...

I'd like to add one. Make the PTAT stop time adjustable. Now it sits at a +1 minute. Make this adjustable to plus 5 or even more. Don 't know about other places but in Alaska the prime time never stops on time, (the hour mark), and usually ends up at least 3 minutes into the next hour...
