I was under the impression the 722k had a buffer that would hold the past 60 minutes of a channel, but my doesn't seem to do that anymore and I thought it used to. Is there anything I can do to fix it or do I need a new DVR?

When did Dish start generating the listing information? The last I knew they contracted for the listings from and existing service.
