I was under the impression the 722k had a buffer that would hold the past 60 minutes of a channel, but my doesn't seem to do that anymore and I thought it used to. Is there anything I can do to fix it or do I need a new DVR?

What is a HIC? That's a new one for me.

Unfortunately the programs are not transferable to a PC hard drive. When moved to an external HDD the disk is formatted to Linux Ext3 and the programs are encrypted to prevent piracy.

Snow on the satellite dish would not affect OTA channels that would be received by a terrestrial antenna. How is your system configured? Do you have a terrestrial antenna for your OTA channels?

Isn't it technical because of the difference in the cabling for the Hopper within the house? The 211's supposedly are not connected to the same dish as a Hopper, but a 612 in the house could not use the same cabling as the Hopper.

Yes, very nice and it's pretty well setup optimally from the factory. I ran an optimizing DVD and all the screens and patterns were excellent. Probably won't need to do any tweaking like I did with my old Philips.

Thanks, JSheridan. The 500 code does indeed work. I also discovered I was on the wrong page in the manual and was trying all the DVD player codes. Now I know why they didn't work!

I just bought a Sony KDL-40W600B HDTV. I have tried all the TV codes in the 722k user manual and none of them work. Didn't someone post a link to some newer codes for newer TVs sometime in the past year or two? If so, does anyone have that link available?
