If X1 is pretty comparable to The Genie and Dish, I will probably be happy. My other option is to drop one room of Genie service that we really don't need and also see what retention offer they make. If I can save some money, I will be happy to keep DirecTV.

Has anyone been experiencing out of sync audio? It has happened twice now and both times, I was able to shut the HR44 off and turn it back on to cure the issue. Is this normal or is something going on?

We are back in business! The installer came this morning and found the LNB was defective. He didn't like the patchwork cable either so he replaced it with one run from the switch to the DVR. Everything looks good now...hopefully no more 775 errors!

Yeah, this is one reason I got a RC66RBX for my HR44...the RF doesn't work but I now have a backlit remote with full DVR control and control for my Blu-Ray player and surround sound receiver!
