Everything was working okay until this morning. Whether they did to the network cause the 1254 error to reappear.

Dirt please help 1254 error for weeks Checked Blockbuster and On -demand this morning and so far everything is good. No crashes during searches or browsing. Crossing my fingers that they have it solved.

No not really. Even when I start just browsing around eventually everything quits working and I'm back to the 1254 error. I think searching just makes it happen quicker. At the moment I guess wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Resetting the Hopper , restores Blockbuster and On-Demand until I filter selections and then back I am back to the 1254 error.

It was better this morning but still after doing a couple of searches I ended up with the same problem. but at least it the situation is improving.

1254 error I replaced my 722 with a hopper( with Sling) and a joey. i have the same problem with a Error 1254. My network passes all the tests but I can't access Blockbuster at Home or On-demand .I have a Time Warner cable modem, so bandwidth is not a problem.

My problem is wireless. Dish shows the broadband connection is okay but I cannot connect to dish's network server.

Are you using wireless internet connection. Is so is it one of Dish USB things or a 3rd party wireless router between the receiver and your main router?

You are right I do have a 722 not a 722K.

The wireless connection is not the problem. I can connect to the internet through that router using my laptop and browse the internet using my Panasonic DVD with the same router. I can not hard wire the 722k ethernet to my primary router because it is on the other end of the house. I thought...
