Just got a replacement for a defective hopper w/sling. On rear panel there is some sort of device installed on the replacement that was not present on the original. It is installed in the top usb port but there is no reference to this device in any paperwork that came with the replacement...
Today I made some programming and acct changes with the help of a CSR and ultimately his supervisor. It was a great experience and was handled just as customer service should be handled. As a long time subscriber nothing was more loathsome than knowing I needed CSR assistance for something...
When you side by side compare AEP and Top 250 on the left side of the screen you will see the channel logos,blockbuster@home is listed next after BET.
That was the point of the question. If it is not included it should not be listed as so in the channel lineups, especially to new customers...

I don't have the exact link but go to dish website and compare packages. Compare AEP and America 250 and it shows up as included in both. If you have either of these pkgs go into my acct section and check your own programming it will show up there also. @ least mine does Good luck

Just noticed on Dish website, when you compare packages i.e. AEP/250 the channel lineup
shows BAH as included in the package. When I check my own acct it also shows BAH as included but I am charged $10 a month. Just a bit confused. Anybody? Thanx I have AEP.
My 8yr old Duo 622 just died from hard drive failure. This unit is leased with no home protection. Will dish
replace it, charge me for it,or should I just replace the HD myself? Your suggestions would be highly apreciated. Thanks in advance.
Absolutely NOT set on leaving nor do I intend to do so. I am seeking NO offers to stay. I am looking for whatever leverage I can bring to bear to allow DISH to live up to their word re: a special situation agreement with marketing. This has gone back & forth for over a year now with Dish...
Is there any ACTUAL difference between executive resolution and dish retention? If so
is one easier to deal with than the other or have more "juice" to get something done than the other. Really sorry to have to ask but you guys can see whats coming...
I need the help of ALL you informed souls that say abreast of DISH related info. As a long time 12+yr
customer I'm like Rodney Dangerfield cant get no respect. I know you have all been there.
To the chase: What would you do if you had no remaining commitment to DISH? I have the "Everything...
Clarification on my HDMI/DVI post
Thanks for your reply. As I said this may be a mixup in terms on my part. The output on my 622 is labeled
HDTV Digital Output and on my Toshiba the corresponding input is labeled DVI/HDCP In. These 2
ports are very different in appearence. The TV input

Please excuse me if these are repeats but my forum search turned up nothing useful.
Can anyone explain the terms used on the 622 diagnostics and for what & when one might use them? Rt side of screen shows button marked HARD
DRIVE and another marked COUNTER.
COUNTER brings up a sequentially...
HDMI/DVI on 622
Maybe this is just a syntax problem on my end but for what its worth my 622 has NO HDMI only a DVI.
My TV only accepts HDMI and I was told I needed to purchase a DVI to HDMI conversion cable. Am I misinformed?
Thanks SAM
